Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown gave us the most memorable moment of the regular season's first Sunday. 

While returning a punt early on against Cleveland, Brown prematurely attempted to hurdle Spencer Lanning. The punter had abruptly stopped his pursuit of the Steelers receiver, who ultimately delivered a jump-kick to Lanning's face. 

Lanning said he wasn't sure what happened when he saw a photo after the game, but we're pretty sure he was kidding.

The 'Gronk Spike' is back, and Tom Brady is excited

Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski returned to action Sunday, nine months removed from knee surgery, and made an immediate impact by catching a touchdown. He wasted no time pulling his trademark move, spiking the ball with authority.

The Oakland Raiders got creative (or extremely lucky) against the New York Jets when running back Maurice Jones-Drew performed a bicycle kick that propelled the ball back into the hands of quarterback Derek Carr.

Injured Cam Newton make a cameo in the huddle

The Carolina Panthers held Cam Newton out of Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers due to injury, but Newton couldn't help but make an unexpected appearance. 

The quarterback ran on to the field and joined his teammates in the huddle.
