  • Not a lot of movement at the top of the receiver rankings from last week. Mike Wallace gets a bump up to the 22nd spot, based mostly on potential. Wallace has shown he can produce big numbers in the past and he should get back to that this season with Ryan Tannehill taking a step forward in his development. Looking at the receivers in that range, Wallace has the best chance to get into the top-12.
  • Emmanuel Sanders may be ready to explode onto the fantasy scene, whether Wes Welker is on the field or not. Sanders and Peyton Manning showed some chemistry in their regular season tune-up and Sanders will play a significant role in Denver's passing attack. Hopefully it's not too late to get Sanders in the fifth round.
  • Eric Decker doesn't seem to be getting much respect in the fantasy community as the top option in the New York Jets' passing game. If you talk yourself into taking Decker, it's the kind of pick you will be regretting a few weeks into the season when you remember who his quarterback is.
  • Kelvin Benjamin and Mike Evans are going to battle for the rookie receiver title, despite the fact Sammy Watkins was drafted higher and Brandin Cooks received a ton of preseason buzz. The Panthers need Benjamin to become a number-one receiver right away, while Evans will play in an offense where teams are scheming against everyone but him. Benjamin's ADP has moved into the eighth round, but Evans is often available two rounds later.
  • Late round receivers you should be targeting: Jordan Matthews, Cecil Shorts, Kenny Britt, Kenny StillsCody Latimer.
