Eagles finalize cuts, including former starting kicker Henery

The Philadelphia Eagles became the first team to get down to the 53-man limit ahead of the NFL's roster cutdown deadline Saturday.

Is anyone surprised that a team with speed freak Chip Kelly at the helm got things done so quickly?

Among the names looking for work are 2013 starting kicker Alex Henery and promising young running back Kenjon Barner.

The Eagles also placed two players on injured reserve: receiver Arrelious Benn and linebacker Travis Long.
