The Indianapolis Colts released linebacker Kelvin Sheppard a year after acquiring him from the Buffalo Bills for defensive end Jerry Hughes.
Sheppard appeared in 15 regular-season games for the Colts in 2013, as well as both postseason contests. He recorded one sack and 46 combined tackles in the regular season.
