Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly met with the Buffalo Bills trust Thursday and remains interested purchasing the team, Tim Graham of the Buffalo News reports.

Kelly was reportedly joined by bond investor Jeffrey Gundlach, who expressed interest in purchasing the Bills three years ago. According to Graham, the two are hoping to join a bigger group as minority partners, as it is unlikely Gundlach could afford to purchase the team on his own.

The Bills trust began meeting with prospective buyers Wednesday in the Detroit area, where Ralph Wilson Enterprises is located. It's been speculated that a new owner could be in place by October.
