Report: Richard Sherman boycotting Seattle media for publishing his home address

Richard Sherman is known for being forthright, but now he's being just the opposite.

The Seattle Seahawks cornerback is reportedly boycotting the local media because the Seattle Times published his home address a couple of weeks ago, according to CBS Seattle.

Sherman became the NFL's highest-paid cornerback when he signed a four-year, $57.5 million extension in May.

The 26-year-old reportedly purchased the former home of Los Angeles Clippers guard and Seattle native Jamal Crawford for $2.31 million.

CBS Seattle reports Sherman is being "bombarded" by fans "hanging out" around his home seeking autographs, "or wanting to just hang out" with the Seahawks star.

All addresses in King County, Wa., are available to the public.
