Bennett confirms he won't join Patriots on White House trip
Martellus Bennett is sticking to his word.
Following Sunday's Super Bowl LI win, the veteran tight end reiterated that, regardless of the relationship New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft may have with President Donald Trump, he has no intentions of joining the team on a celebratory trip to the White House.

Bennett first outlined his intentions during Super Bowl media night earlier this week, stating that he doesn't support the newly elected President.
The offseason trade acquisition played a major role in the Patriots mounting the largest comeback in Super Bowl history to defeat the Atlanta Falcons, racking up five receptions for 62 yards and forcing a pass interference call that set up the winning touchdown run in overtime.
