Watch: Kirk Cousins shoves referee during charity football game

Brett Davis / USA TODAY Sports

Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins certainly wishes he was playing in a more meaningful football game this week, but that didn't stop him from bringing his competitive spirit to the field during a charity event.

With time running out in the game, Cousins got his team down to the goal line, hoping to finish off the drive with a game-winning touchdown. Unfortunately the volunteer official wasn't able to get the ball spotted in time, leading to the release of Cousins' inner Hulk which took control of his body, shoving the official.

It's unclear if the push was a moment of temporary insanity or just a playful move intended to entertain the crowd, but according to Deadspin, Cousins' anger wasn't an act.

First he missed the playoffs, then he had to go shopping with his wife, and last week he lost the Pro Bowl. Now Cousins is mad as hell and he's not going to take it anymore.
