Ryan sought advice from Eli Manning on beating Patriots

Kirby Lee / USA TODAY Sports

There's only been one quarterback to defeat Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl, but Matt Ryan is trying to push that number to two.

The Atlanta Falcons quarterback told reporters at Super Bowl Opening Night on Monday that he hit up New York Giants field general Eli Manning for some advice on how to handle the Patriots in the big game.

He also said he spoke with Peyton Manning, who's had his fair share of battles with Brady, on the process of preparing for the Super Bowl.

If Ryan wants to get any advice from the third Manning brother, Cooper has been spotted at opening night as well.
