Roethlisberger has Brady's jersey hanging in his office

Tom Brady and Ben Roethlisberger will be adversaries on Sunday when they battle for the right to compete in Super Bowl LI, but they also have the ultimate respect for one another.

As part of his media tour ahead of Sunday's AFC Championship game, Roethlisberger was asked on Wednesday about an interaction he had with Brady after their Week 7 meeting this season. Cameras and microphones caught the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback asking for the jersey off the back of the New England Patriots pivot.

"I hate that those things get taped and (heard) because it wasn't meant for that," Roethlisberger said in a conference call Wednesday, Mike Reiss of ESPN writes.

"I have it hanging in my office. I have a lot of respect for him; I think that's very well known," Big Ben said of Brady. "I think he's one of, if not the greatest, quarterbacks of all time. It's been an honor to play against him, to call him a competitor, and so I put it up in my office with the likes of the Marinos and Elways and Kellys and things like that."
