Falcons' Quinn: Jones will be 'ready to rock' for NFC title game

The Atlanta Falcons aren't taking any chances with the health of star receiver Julio Jones.

Head coach Dan Quinn said Monday that the Falcons will limit Jones - who is dealing with a toe sprain - at the start of the practice week, but emphasized he'll be "ready to rock" for Sunday's NFC title game against the Green Bay Packers.

"For us, we're going to stick with the same plan: We'll limit him throughout the week, and then as the week progresses, we'll give him a little more at the end," Quinn said, according to ESPN's Vaughn McClure. "That will be the plan moving forward for us. He's excited to play, but we'll make sure he gets the looks that are really specific to him. For him and his foot, he'll be ready to rock."

Jones missed two games earlier in the regular season due to the injury and was seen limping on the sidelines after aggravating his foot during the win over the Seattle Seahawks.
