Roethlisberger can't help but throw shade at Bengals

Charles LeClaire / USA TODAY Sports

Like many fan bases, supporters of the Pittsburgh Steelers don't always see eye to eye in how their team should go about its business, but there is one thing those Terrible Towel wavers agree on - hating the Cincinnati Bengals.

While answering questions about his upcoming playoffs matchup with the Miami Dolphins, Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger couldn't help but take a shot at his division rivals.

Roethlisberger was asked about how to deal with Dolphins' notorious defender Ndamukong Suh and his potential dirty playing style, but went low on the Bengals instead.

"In terms of the extra stuff, we don’t worry about that. We’re just going to go out and play the football game," Roethlisberger told CBS Pittsburgh. "You can’t get caught up in it, because if you get caught up in it, you do what the Bengals do and you lose the game."

The Steelers were able to advance past the first round of the playoffs last year thanks to a series of penalties by the Bengals, but saw several players injured as a result, something Roethlisberger still hasn't gotten over, apparently.
