Buccaneers' Jameis Winston: Efficient, mistake-free in Week 14 win

Winston completed 16 of 26 passes for 184 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions in Sunday's 16-11 victory over the Saints. He also gained 16 yards on five rushes.

Analysis:

The surging Bucs defense was front and center in this one, but Winston did his part by staying mistake-free and therefore not doing the Saints any favors. He distributed the ball relatively evenly to his makeshift group of receivers, connecting with six different pass catchers on the afternoon, including the newly-promoted Josh Huff. The offensive game plan seemed to call for a heavy emphasis on the short and intermediate passing game, as Winston's passing yardage total represented the third time he's been under 200 yards this season, while his 7.08 YPA was his lowest in the last five games. However, his contributions were more than enough to keep the Bucs firmly in the wild card hunt at minimum, a quest they'll continue when they face the Cowboys on the road in a Week 15 Sunday night tilt.
