Roethlisberger calls out Brown for celebration penalties
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was enlisted by the fun police.
Roethlisberger called out teammate Antonio Brown for taking too many celebration penalties, believing his numerous dances to be a detriment to the Steelers' special teams units.
Brown was penalized for dancing along with teammate Le'Veon Bell during Thursday's 28-7 win against the Indianapolis Colts.
"He knows, we all know, coach Tomlin brought it up yesterday, that is a huge penalty and we can't do that," Roethlisberger said Tuesday on 93.7 The Fan. "We put our kick coverage team in a bad situation and we can't have that, and AB knows that."
Roethlisberger is also convinced Brown is more likely to get penalized during prime-time games.
"I know for a fact that he’s scored touchdowns in one o'clock games that aren't the big prime time games and they haven't flagged him."
