Norman feels targeted after bow-and-arrow celebration fine

Josh Norman wasn't the first player to celebrate a big play by pretending to shoot a bow and arrow, but he was one of the only ones to get fined for it.

The Washington Redskins cornerback is still reeling over the flag and fine he got in Week 4, mainly because he feels the league has targeted him due to his high-profile contract.

"I think that (if) anything, the eyes have been magnified more so for my contract," Norman told 106.7 The Fan. "I think that has been magnified into what we do and how we do it, and the NFL's looking more into us and how we do things on a football field."

Players like New Orleans Saints receiver Brandin Cooks have been using the celebration without facing discipline, and Norman isn't taking it lightly.

"Hey! They took my darned bow and arrow away from me!" he said. "And a couple guys have been doing it for years! And now, all of a sudden, I do it, can't do it no more. I'm trying to understand that one, still. It's just been a lot of other things that have been coming up to where, you know, we just got to overcome the adversity that strike us and be better, and we will be, and continue to get Ws. That's all that matters at the end of the day. Win."
