Houston Texans defensive tackle Vince Wilfork was visibly frustrated following a flat performance that resulted in a 31-13 loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.

"That's two times facing an elite team and we didn't look good," Wilfork said, according to Aaron Wilson of The Houston Chronicle. "So, it's gut check time.

"We're way better than that, but we haven't shown that. Until we show it, maybe I'm seeing things a little bit different. Maybe I'm screwed up. Until we show it, that's who we are."

The Texans were shut out 27-0 by Wilfork's former team the New England Patriots in Week 3, meaning unless you consider the Kansas City Chiefs a contending team, the Texans have been outscored 58-13 by elite teams.

"Maybe if I wasn't so competitive or didn't give a crap, it wouldn't bother me," Wilfork said. "I'm very competitive and it's really bothering me. We got to figure it out. It's frustrating, very frustrating. We'll try to fix it. We got to figure it out."

The Texans will have to bounce back quickly as they face the Indianapolis Colts in Week 6 in a game that carries significance in the race for the AFC South crown.
