Ravens' Mike Wallace: Slows down in third game of season

Wallace had three catches for 34 yards on six targets in Sunday's 19-17 win over the Jaguars.

Analysis:

Wallace made the most of a limited workload in the first two games, turning three of his 12 targets into scores. He drew exactly six targets for a third straight game, but this time wasn't able to have the same impact. Wallace did lead the team's wideouts with 50 snaps, comfortably outpacing Steve Smith (40), Chris Moore (26), Breshad Perriman (26) and Kamar Aiken (23). However, Smith and TE Dennis Pitta have received more of Joe Flacco's attention, with Wallace serving as more of a deep threat than a primary target. Given his dependence on touchdowns and deep passes, in combination with Smith's rapid re-emergence, Wallace will likely be inconsistent all season. The sell-high window may have already passed.
