Broncos' Devontae Booker: Strives to top Denver's depth chart

Booker (knee) claims that he is coming to Denver to "take someone's job," The Salt Lake City Tribune reports.

Analysis:

It's not entirely clear how Booker's remark will fly in the locker room, but starter C.J. Anderson has said that he was unbothered by it. Fantasy owners should like the chip on Booker's shoulder, though. Booker obviously has the skills Denver's front office like in a back, he was supposedly on its first-round shortlist, and a bevy of backs have succeeded in head coach Gary Kubiak's one-cut system. The team's financial investment in Anderson indicates that it might be hard for Booker to unseat him atop the depth chart in the short term, but the fact of the matter is that he will likely take someone's job this summer - if not Anderson, then perhaps Ronnie Hillman or Juwan Thompson.
