Aqib Talib says Peyton Manning is better all-time QB than Tom Brady

Aqib Talib settled a bar room debate for the ages on Monday.

Talib, who is coming off a Super Bowl victory with the Denver Broncos, was asked whether Peyton Manning or Tom Brady is the better quarterback.

Upon some reflection, Talib selected the former of his ex-teammates.

"That's a tough one, man. That's a tough one. Their preparation, how they approach the game. I've seen both of them," Talib said on ESPN's "First Take." "Just seeing that and seeing their productivity on the field, it's kind of hard to pick. But if I had to pick, I'm going to pick the guy who I won the Super Bowl with. I never won a Super Bowl with Tom. I had a great time over there playing with him. He was amazing to watch - same with Peyton. But I won a Super Bowl with Peyton. So, I'm going to go with Peyton."

Manning retired after 18 illustrious seasons, leaving with a bevy of NFL records. Brady is still actively steering the New England Patriots' offense, in pursuit of a fifth Super Bowl ring.

The quarterbacks will always be inextricably linked due to their ferocious rivalry, and the argument will likely carry on even after Talib's remarks Monday.

Talib also criticized Manning's former backup, Brock Osweiler, for struggling to accept his role on the team. Osweiler signed a four-year, $72-million contract with the Houston Texans, while the Broncos' starting quarterback role remains in flux.
