NFL Game Summary - Seattle at Atlanta

Atlanta, GA (SportsNetwork.com) - Russell Wilson passed for 287 yards and two touchdowns, Marshawn Lynch rushed for 145 yards and a score and the Seattle Seahawks pushed their winning streak to five games with a 33-10 victory over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.

Wilson had a 43-yard touchdown pass to Jermaine Kearse on a flea-flicker and a 6-yarder that Golden Tate caught with one hand in the corner of the end zone as Seattle (9-1) remained unbeaten since a Week 5 loss at Indianapolis Oct. 6.

The Seahawks quarterback completed 19 of his 26 passes in the first meeting between the teams since Atlanta won their divisional round playoff game in January.

Lynch carried 24 times and Steven Hauschka kicked four field goals for the Seahawks.

Matt Ryan was 23-of-36 for 172 yards and a 12-yard touchdown pass to rookie Darius Johnson but the Falcons (2-7) continued to scuffle, losing their third in a row and for the sixth time in their last seven games.

They had a four-game winning streak against the Seahawks snapped.

Atlanta wide receiver Roddy White was back after missing three games because of ankle and hamstring injuries, but caught just one pass for 20 yards in the first quarter.

It was all punts and field goals before Seattle scored its first touchdown on a trick play.

Wilson pitched right to Lynch, who turned and threw overhand to Wilson on the left side. Kearse was covered tightly by Thomas DeCoud but made the catch in the end zone with the safety draped on his back.

The 43-yard touchdown gave the Seahawks a 13-3 lead with 5:33 remaining in the first half -- time enough for them to score two more times on Hauschka's 44- yard field goal, his third of the half, and Tate's last-second, one-handed catch.

Tate got behind Robert Alford in the back left corner and hauled in the pass with his left hand, squeezing it against his body as he dragged his back foot inbounds. The play was review and upheld as a touchdown, making it 23-3.

Atlanta punted five times in the first half, the only bright spot a 53-yard field goal by Matt Bryant in the second quarter.

Hauschka was also good from 39 and 43 yards in the first half and he kicked a 53-yarder on Seattle's first possession of the third quarter to make it 26-3.

The Seahawks had the ball for 7:11 and the Falcons responded with a drive spanning the next 6:47 that ended when Ryan hit Johnson on a 12-yard slant for the rookie's first career touchdown catch.

Lynch capped an 80-yard Seahawks drive with a 1-yard touchdown run around the left side of the line to give them a 33-10 lead with 8:48 left.

Atlanta receiver Harry Douglas was stripped by Walter Thurmond at the end of a 31-yard catch-and-run and the Seattle corner recovered the fumble.
