Keith Smart has reportedly emerged as a candidate to join the coaching staff of the Miami Heat, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports.
The 49-year-old former Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings coach is reportedly discussing a role on the Heat bench, which has undergone a mild reconfiguration this offseason. Former Heat forward Juwan Howard has moved to an assistant coaching job, while Bob McAdoo and Ron Rothstein have reportedly been reassigned.
Smart holds a 93-170 record as a head coach in his career.
