Two of Europe's hottest young football commodities share the Dembele surname, and while one appears poised for a high-profile move out of France, the other is keen to return to the place where a promising career got its start.

Like fellow French teenage attacker Ousmane Dembele, Fulham striker Moussa Dembele has become the topic of heated transfer speculation, and admitting he would be happy to again play at Paris Saint-Germain.

The Cottagers' 12-goal man joined PSG as an 8-year-old before moving to Fulham in 2012, making his professional debut a year later. He has since emerged as one of the continent's most-desired teenage talents, with a host of marquee sides reportedly monitoring his progress.

With Fulham one point off the drop in England's second tier, the striker is likely to move in the summer.

"Like every Parisian, I dream of playing for PSG," Dembele, 19, told L'Equipe.

With talismanic goal-machine Zlatan Ibrahimovic slated to leave the club in the summer once his contract expires, and Edinson Cavani seemingly discontent with Laurent Blanc's squad selections, the four-time reigning Ligue 1 champs may need to address a dearth of forwards.

"I left in 2012 when Ibrahimovic and (Ezequiel) Lavezzi joined the club. I would have gotten little playing time. PSG were not counting on me," Dembele said.

Youngsters Jean-Kevin Augustin and Hervin Ongenda have been given a shot with the first team this season, though neither has emerged as the heir to the towering Swedish striker's throne.

"I know that some players have gotten their chance since, like Jean-Kevin Augustin, but I preferred to leave and try my luck elsewhere," Dembele said.

Like his French compatriot Ousmane, Moussa is a sign of a bright future for the national setup, with Anthony Martial, Kingsley Coman, Maxwel Cornet, and Sebastien Haller among several sparking the next generation of Les Bleus football.

While Ousmane - who has gone from near-obscurity to a world-class prodigy with 10 goals in 19 matches for Rennes this season - appears poised for a high-profile move to the Bundesliga, Moussa hopes to return to the French top flight following four years abroad.
