An arrest warrant has been issued by the Cincinnati Police Department for boxing star Adrien Broner, according to court documents acquired by TMZ Sports.
The 27-year-old Broner is being charged with felonious assault and aggravated robbery after allegedly punching a man into unconsciousness outside of a bowling alley and robbing the man while holding a handgun.
According to the TMZ report, the incident occurred at 3:30 a.m. on Jan. 21. The alleged victim told police that Broner became upset with him for walking away from a session of high stakes betting at the lanes that left Broner out thousands of dollars.
The report was corroborated by USA Today's Mike Coppinger and Ben Katko, a reporter for FOX's Cincinnati affiliate:

Broner was contacted by ESPN's Dan Rafael concerning the allegations, and the boxer offered a flippant response that he shared on his Instagram account:
Broner is the current WBA light welterweight champion. He is scheduled to defend his belt against Ashley Theophane in April, but the status of the fight is up in the air after news of these charges broke.
