Jozy Altidore returns to Toronto FC squad for Sporting KC clash

Toronto FC star striker Jozy Altidore has returned to Sunday's matchday roster for the Reds' clash against Sporting Kansas City, making the bench after recovering from a hamstring injury that has kept him out of the lineup for the first two weeks of MLS action.

The U.S. international striker was also named to Jurgen Klinsmann's latest squad for World Cup qualifying matches against Guatemala. Altidore started 2016 in bright form for his country, but picked up an unfortunately timed hamstring issue before the start of the 2016 MLS campaign.

Toronto FC, inspired by Sebastian Giovinco, didn't skip a beat, defeating the New York Red Bulls to open the season, then drawing 2-2 against New York City FC last weekend.
