With a 4-1 win over the Montreal Canadiens Tuesday, the Florida Panthers have reclaimed top spot in the Atlantic Division.

The dominating performance gave them the two points needed to lift them ahead of the Tampa Bay Lightning and Boston Bruins.

Vincent Trocheck led the way for the Panthers, picking up a goal and a helper, giving him eight points over his last five games. Nick Bjugstad, Jiri Hudler, and Aleksander Barkov also found the back of the net.

The Panthers got some help from the Toronto Maple Leafs, who uncharacteristically defeated the Lighting 4-1 earlier in the night.

The Bruins had a chance to jump up into first in the division, but failed to do so, falling 3-2 to the San Jose Sharks.
