Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning is expected to meet with head coach Gary Kubiak and general manager John Elway this week, according to NFL Network's James Palmer.

Manning is not expected to make a decision on his retirement by the end of the week, per Palmer. However, it was reported Saturday that Manning was expected to make a decision this week, according to Woody Paige of The Denver Post.

Broncos vice president of public relations Patrick Smyth confirmed Saturday that Manning will continue a discourse with the club throughout the week.

The five-time NFL MVP will be owed $19 million in base salary if he elects to return next season. His salary will be locked in as of March 9 and the Broncos would presumably want a decision on his future by then.

With Brock Osweiler slated to become an unrestricted free agent, the reigning Super Bowl champions will need to figure out their most important position soon.
