Former Oklahoma defensive end Charles Tapper left the rest of the defensive line class in his wake during the 40-yard dash on Sunday, registering an official time of 4.59 seconds.

His time was faster than 11 official times put up by wide receivers on Saturday.

Only former Oklahoma State defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah was anywhere close to Dapper's time.

Ogbah ran a lightning-quick official time of 4.63 seconds, which is all the more impressive considering he's 6'4" and 273 pounds.

The performance is vital in proving he possesses the outstanding athletic ability to help separate himself from a deep draft class at defensive line.

Both players registered a 1.59-second 10-yard split, which is arguably even more awe-inspiring, and could be vital for teams looking for edge-rushers with good initial burst off the line.
