Ohio State pass-rusher Joey Bosa holds himself to a high standard - one that he doesn't feel he met during the 40-yard dash at the scouting combine on Sunday.
Bosa ran an official 4.87 seconds in the 40, a time he told NFL Network's Kimberly Jones is slower than he expected.
Bosa said he expected to run in the 4.6- to 4.7-second range.
Bosa ran the 40 with the defensive linemen, but will also participate in linebacker drills later on Sunday. It's still unclear whether NFL teams see Bosa as a 4-3 defensive end or 3-4 outside linebacker. He told reporters this week he believes he's versatile enough to play either position.
