Noah Spence: Drug problems are behind me
Former Eastern Kentucky defensive end Noah Spence insists his off-field troubles are a thing of the past.
A potential first-round pick, Spence was permanently banned from the Big Ten last season after testing positive for ecstasy twice, and transferred from Ohio State to Eastern Kentucky in an attempt to boost his draft stock.
Spence told reporters at the NFL Scouting Combine he's now clean and has been undergoing drug tests every week.
"It was more about me going to parties and less of an addiction," Spence said Friday, adding that his dad helped him a lot.

Spence wasn't surprised by all the questions about his past.
"It's all out there," he said. "There ain't nothing to hide. ... I've made mistakes."
