The Golden State Warriors' race to reach 73 wins will trudge on without their MVP.

Golden State will be without Stephen Curry (ankle) and Andre Iguodala (hamstring) for Tuesday's game against the Atlanta Hawks, the team announced.

Curry sustained the injury during Saturday's overtime thriller against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Russell Westbrook landed on Curry's ankle, which temporarily forced the league's leading scorer to head to the locker room.

He would return moments later to score 46 points, including a 38-foot pull-up 3-pointer that downed the Thunder in overtime, and gave Golden State its 53rd win in 58 games.

There's always a scare with Curry when it comes to his ankles, but he's put those worries behind him in recent years. The 27-year-old has played 78 or more games in each of his last three seasons.

Tuesday's absence marks the first time Curry's sat out a Warriors home game since Nov. 20, 2013. Golden State went 1-1 in the two games Curry missed earlier this season on account of a shin bruise.

Backup guard Shaun Livingston will draw the spot start for Curry.

Iguodala played 33 minutes in the Warriors' win over Oklahoma City, and showed few, if any, signs of injury during that contest.
