Pace: Bears 'aggressively' negotiating with Jeffery, could use franchise tag

The Chicago Bears are working hard to get a deal done with wide receiver Alshon Jeffery before free agency opens next month.
Speaking with reporters at the NFL Scouting Combine on Wednesday, general manager Ryan Pace said the team is "aggressively" negotiating with Jeffery. He added that the franchise tag is also an option.
"I sense he wants to be here," Pace said of the negotiations.
Jeffery, a second-round pick of the Bears in the 2012 draft, was limited to nine games last season due to injury. Despite his limited action, the 26-year-old still led the team with 54 receptions for 807 yards and four touchdowns.
