Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors own another piece of history, as the reigning MVP has set a new NBA record for consecutive games with a made 3-pointer, extending his streak to 128 on Thursday.

Curry drained the trey in the first quarter against the Magic in Orlando, beating Kyle Korver's previous league record of 127 games. The last game in which Curry failed to make a single 3-pointer came on Nov. 11, 2014, when he shot 0-of-7 from deep against the San Antonio Spurs.

Curry came into Thursday's game leading the league with 266 treys this season - almost 100 more than his next-closest competitor, Warriors teammate Klay Thompson. That's almost five makes per game, which puts him on pace to shatter his own NBA record for threes in a season (286) sometime in the next two weeks.
