Tuesday's Center Value Rankings
Here are theScore's center value rankings for Tuesday, January 26:
Value Rankings
PG | SG | SF | PF | C
Top Options
| Name | Opponent | Value |
|---|---|---|
| Tyson Chandler (PHX) | at PHI | 10 |
| Brook Lopez (BKN) | vs. MIA | 9 |
| Greg Monroe (MIL) | vs. ORL | 9 |
| DeMarcus Cousins (SAC) | at POR | 8 |
| Jonas Valanciunas (TOR) | vs. WAS | 8 |
While Chandler certainly won't match his 13-point, 27-rebound performance from Sunday, he should still return plenty of value. He's had 20-plus rebounds in each of his last two games, and the 76ers are pretty dire, defensively.
On sites where Cousins is listed as a center, he's still the top producer and most expensive. He's as close to a sure thing as you'll get.
Best of the Rest
| Name | Opponent | Value |
|---|---|---|
| DeAndre Jordan (LAC) | at IND | 7 |
| Mason Plumlee (POR) | vs. SAC | 7 |
| Willie Cauley-Stein (SAC) | at POR | 7 |
| Myles Turner (IND) | vs. LAC | 6 |
| Nikola Vucevic (ORL) | at MIL | 6 |
| Jahlil Okafor (PHI) | vs. PHX | 6 |
| Jordan Hill (IND) | vs. LAC | 6 |
| Robin Lopez (NY) | vs. OKC | 5 |
| Alex Len (PHX) | at PHI | 5 |
Jordan has been putting up decent numbers, but he needs to do just a tad more. Cauley-Stein is the opposite. His salary is climbing, though, so this might be the last chance to return excellent value with him for a while.
Turner will qualify at either PF or C, and he will come considerably less expensive than the top names. At his rising price, his window is closing, especially with Ian Mahinmi coming back from injury.
Nothing to See Here
| Name | Opponent | Value |
|---|---|---|
| Ian Mahinmi (IND) | vs. LAC | 4 |
| Enes Kanter (OKC) | at NY | 4 |
| Bismack Biyombo (TOR) | vs. WAS | 3 |
| Kosta Koufos (SAC) | at POR | 3 |
| Roy Hibbert (LAL) | vs. DAL | 2 |
| Steven Adams (OKC) | at NY | 1 |
Avoid the bench names on a night with plenty of talent atop the center ranks.
