With one flick of the wrist, the Chicago Blackhawks saw their 12-game winning streak come to an end.

Tampa Bay Lightning forward Nikita Kucherov fired home his 20th goal of the season over the catching glove of goaltender Corey Crawford late in the second period. It held up as the game-winner.

Kucherov remains red-hot in the winter months, with points in 15 of his last 16 games and a total of 22 over that span.

A Blackhawks win would have given the club sole possession of the longest winning streak in the league this season. The Lightning, meanwhile, extended their own winning streak to seven with the victory.
