Report: Hawks discussing Jeff Teague with multiple teams, including Knicks

Jeff Teague's time with the Atlanta Hawks may be running out.
The Hawks have reportedly been in trade discussions with multiple teams - including the New York Knicks - involving their starting point guard, according to SI's Chris Mannix.
Hawks had been soliciting offers for Teague or Dennis Schroder, per rival execs. Though recently they have focused more on Teague.

After last season's brilliant All-Star campaign, Teague has taken a huge step back in 2015-16, particularly over the past month, averaging 10.6 points, 4.8 assists and shooting just 38.9 percent in January.
Taken with the 19th pick in the 2009 draft, Teague has spent his entire career with Atlanta and is in the midst of a team-friendly four-year, $32-million contract he signed back in 2013. However, he was nearly a member of the Milwaukee Bucks that same summer, signing an offer sheet the Hawks eventually matched.
The Knicks are one of several teams who have talked to Atlanta about a trade for point guard Jeff Teague, league sources tell ESPN. (1/2).

Dennis Schroder, who is also reportedly involved in trade talks, has outplayed Teague over the past several weeks, and the Hawks may view him as their point guard of the future. The third-year German is averaging career highs in points (10.9), assists (4.8), rebounds (2.8), and steals (1.1).
While not as good as last year's 60-win team, Atlanta still sits third in the East at 27-19. However, they may feel a shakeup is necessary to get back to the Conference Finals.
