VIDEO: Benzema's acrobatic goal highlights 5-goal half for Real Madrid

Sporting Gijon's trip to the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday has been miserable.

The Spanish minnows saw its encounter with Real Madrid get out of hand quickly, as Los Blancos grabbed a 4-0 lead before the 20-minute mark.

One of those first four goals featured a beautiful overhead kick from Karim Benzema, who got on the end of Gareth Bale's cross and thumped his acrobatic shot beyond Gijon 'keeper Ivan Cuellar to give Madrid a 3-0 advantage.

Madrid would add yet another goal before the interval to make it 5-0 at halftime.
