Flames' Bennett records 1st-period hat trick vs. Panthers

Calgary Flames forward Sam Bennett recorded the first hat trick of his NHL career, and it only took him 17 minutes to do so.
Bennett scored three goals in the first period Tuesday as the Flames jumped out to a commanding 4-0 lead over the Florida Panthers.
The 19-year-old opened the scoring less than a minute into the game:
He extended the lead to three with his second goal of the game midway through the period:
And he buried his third goal of the game and his ninth of the season shortly thereafter:

Bennett made Flames history in the process, becoming the youngest player in team history to record a hat trick.
