Evgeny Kuznetsov is soon going to have to claim this move as his own.
The Washington Capitals center pulled off yet another ridiculous assist on a no-look backhand pass, this time to Alex Ovechkin, who made no mistake on the golden opportunity.

Kuznetsov recorded an assist in similar fashion on a T.J. Oshie goal on Nov. 12, with a few others to his credit since making the jump to the NHL from Russia.
The assist was Kuznetsov's 21st of the season, and he would add another later in the period to propel the Capitals to a 5-2 decision and their ninth victory in a row.
