Dolphins' Campbell 'not concerned' with criticisms from Brent Grimes' wife
Miami Dolphins interim head coach Dan Campbell isn't worried about one of his players' wives lobbing harsh criticisms of the team's starting quarterback.
In a series of tweets Sunday, Miko Grimes, wife of cornerback Brent Grimes, said she knew Ryan Tannehill stunk as soon as her husband signed with the Dolphins but she tried to keep quiet.
"Any conversation I have with Brent will be just between us," Campbell told Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald on Monday. "To be honest with you, I'm not concerned with those things."
Miko's string of tweets included reference to the coaches she believes Tannehill got fired, including former head coach Joe Philbin and former offensive coordinator Bill Lazor.
Miko went on to excoriate the local media in a highly profane manner.
Campbell said he doesn't believe he has the power to discipline a player for his wife's behavior.
