The 2015 MLB season provided no shortage of trending moments.

From assaults on water coolers, and broken televisions, to mistimed pyrotechnics, and mispronounced words, here are the top social media moments:

High and Wide

Serving primarily as the New York Yankees designated hitter last season, Alex Rodriguez didn't have much opportunity to showcase his arm. So excuse the two-time Gold Glove winner for uncorking a wild throw while on the set of "NFL Sunday" in October, he's been out of practice.

Baby, You're a Firework

Kansas City Royals outfielder Alex Rios rewarded fans at Progressive Field with a fireworks show when he went deep in September. The only problem was that the game was in Cleveland, leaving the man responsible for the quick trigger finger more than embarrassed.

Gatorade is Better

GAAAAAATORAAAAADE

Pittsburgh Pirates utility man Sean Rodriguez channeled his inner Bobby Boucher on a Gatorade cooler in October. After being ejected for his role in a benches-clearing incident, Rodriguez took out his frustration on the unsuspecting cooler. Rodriguez saw the error of his way, though, and apologized ... to the cooler.

1 Beer, 2 Beers, 3 Beers

More than two decades without postseason baseball created quite a thirst in Toronto. Luckily for the Blue Jays, they had MVP third baseman Josh Donaldson around to bring the rain, the wins, and the beers.

No Crying in Baseball

New York Mets infielder Wilmer Flores may have not known there's no crying in baseball, as he was only 1 year old when "A League of Their Own" came out. Flores broke down in tears - on the field - in July after he learned he had been traded to the Milwaukee Brewers - a deal that eventually fell through.

Fortune Teller

While Jose Bautista was doing amazing things on the field, his mini-clone was doing them in the stands. Moments before the Blue Jays' slugger hit a three-run homer in Game 5 of the ALDS, Mini Bautista was teeing it up.

Mem-eh?

Bryce Harper Says "Memes"

Bryce Harper did a lot of things right last season en route to his first-ever MVP award. His pronunciation of meme, however, was not one of them.

Peek-A-Boo

Hello, Pete Rose

It's been an up-and-down, side-to-side kind of year for Pete Rose.

Mets Misery

During the World Series, one young Mets fan summed up the organization's last 29 years with one simple gesture. After reaching the World Series for just the second time since 1987 this fall, they lost in heartbreaking fashion, as Mets fans across the globe asked, "What was that?"
