Odell Beckham Jr.'s antics in Sunday's 38-35 loss to the Carolina Panthers could end up costing him playing time.

The NFL is discussing possible discipline for the New York Giants wide receiver Monday morning, but the expectation is that he'll be suspended one game, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Beckham was flagged three times for unsportsmanlike conduct and avoided ejection after headbutting Panthers cornerback Josh Norman, one of several physical confrontations that occurred between the pair.

Norman ripped Beckham afterward, calling him a "ballerina" and saying he hopes the league punishes him.

"The guy ran 15 yards down the field, dead-on collision,'' Norman said. "The play was all the way to the left side. He came back and was hunting, and it was just, like, malicious in every way.

"I hope the league office gets a chance to review the film and see what they can do, because players like that don't deserve to be in the game. I mean, it's ridiculous."

Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib is the only player to be suspended for an on-field infraction this season. He was hit with a one-game suspension for gouging the eye of tight end Dwayne Allen in a loss to the Indianapolis Colts.
