With only one player over the age of 24 and a 1-24 record, new Philadelphia 76ers chairman Jerry Colangelo is reportedly looking to bring in some guidance for his team's young guns.
The Sixers have talked to former NBA players Shane Battier and Elton Brand about joining the organization, according to David Aldridge of NBA.com.
Colangelo has reportedly already contacted Mike D'Antoni to join the team as an associate head coach.
The Sixers took some heat last month when rookie Jahlil Okafor was in the news for multiple off-court incidents, prompting critiques that blamed the team's lack of veteran influence for Okafor's behavior.
