13 seconds.

That's how long it took for Conor McGregor's left hand to evaporate Jose Aldo's legendary featherweight title run.

In literally the opening salvo of their main event at UFC 194 on Saturday night, McGregor rendered Aldo unconscious with a vicious counter left hand. Aldo crashed to the mat in a heap, and the brash Irishman sealed the deal with a few clubbing hammerfists before referee "Big" John McCarthy jumped in to save the fallen Brazilian.

It was the fastest finish in UFC title fight history, besting Ronda Rousey's mugging of Cat Zingano at UFC 184 in February.

Following the bout, a surprisingly respectful McGregor pointed out that precision beats power, while a disappointed Aldo asked for a rematch he might not get in the wake of Frankie Edgar's destruction of Chad Mendes at the TUF 22 Finale on Friday night.

Incredible. Absolutely incredible.
