McGee, Mustafaev among winners on UFC 194 Fight Pass prelims
Magomed Mustafaev def. Joe Proctor via 1st-round TKO
Magomed Mustafaev was on a mission, and the mission involved destroying Joe Proctor.
Sporting a Beatles haircut and a menacing glower, Mustafaev completely ran roughshod over the beleaguered Proctor.
After softening up Proctor with a pair of blistering, rib-roasting body kicks, the terrifying Russian continued the assault with a barrage of heavy knees and punches until referee Mark Smith had seen enough, and stepped in to end the onslaught.

Yancy Medeiros def. John Makdessi via split decision
In what boiled down to a glorified kickboxing match between John Makdessi and Yancy Medeiros, the man with the bigger moment emerged victorious.
Neither man really did much to distinguish themselves over the three-round affair, but it was the waning moments of the third stanza that likely swayed it in Medeiros' favor. With time quickly ticking down, the lanky Medeiros cracked Makdessi in the temple with a stiff left, robbing the Canadian of his equilibrium.
Although Medeiros didn't finish Makdessi following the fight's most significant strike, it was enough to earn him two of the judges' scorecards.
You gotta be kidding me. I normally like Yancy Medeiros' fights, but he didn't win that one. Or even do much at all.

Court McGee def. Marcio Alexandre via unanimous decision
It wasn't pretty, and it was definitely void of any entertainment value, but it was classic Court McGee.
Fighting for the first time in nearly two years, McGee spent the better part of three rounds trying to drag Marcio Alexandre to the mat. When he was successful - which wasn't very often - he landed a steady stream of heavy ground-and-pound. When he was unsuccessful, McGee stalled "Lyoto" in the clinch along the fence, peppering his opponent with short knees to the thigh.
It wasn't until the third round that McGee truly took over, dumping the Brazilian to the mat with a double leg before mashing him with big elbows and punches.
Hard not to root for McGee. Overdosed on heroin in 2005. Almost died. Didn’t take up MMA until after he got clean.
