PHOTO: Joel Embiid bulks up, laughs at Shirley Temples rumor

Some good news out of Philadelphia: Perpetually injured center Joel Embiid was seen shooting free throws without his leg cast on Friday.

Some even better news: Any rumors of Embiid's conditioning were easily dispelled, as he looks to be in incredible shape. It certainly looks like Embiid hasn't been downing pitcher after pitcher of Shirley Temples, as one report suggested.

Embiid himself even poked fun at the rumor with some very blogger-friendly hashtags:

The worst news to come out of Sixers camp on Friday was that they had to play a game. Philadelphia dropped to 1-23 with a 107-95 loss to the Detroit Pistons.
