The Seattle Seahawks hosted tight end Anthony McCoy for a work out Wednesday, according to ESPN's Field Yates.
McCoy spent his first three seasons with the Seahawks, but was released Sept. 5. The veteran joined the Washington Redskins on Sept. 7 but was released Nov. 23.
Seattle placed Jimmy Graham on injured reserve after the three-time Pro Bowler suffered a torn right patellar tendon during Sunday's victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. As a result, the club faces a void at tight end.
Luke Willson is expected to gain increased snaps in Graham's absence.
