DFS: Friday's Winger Value Rankings
Top Options
Name | Opponent | Value |
---|---|---|
Daniel Sedin (VAN) | at DAL | 10 |
Mike Cammalleri (NJ) | vs. MTL | 9 |
Taylor Hall (EDM) | at DET | 9 |
Jamie Benn (DAL) | vs. VAN | 8 |
Max Pacioretty (MTL) | at NJ | 8 |
Keep in mind the injuries to Kari Lehtonen and Carey Price. While their backups have played well this year, this should open things up for Cammalleri and Sedin to have great nights. Sedin has 25 points in 23 games. Roster him. Cammalleri has 22 points and still costs a lot less than anyone else on this list. It's reasonable to assume unless Mike Condon shuts out New Jersey, Cammalleri is going to end up on the score sheet.
Best of the Rest

---|---|---|
Phil Kessel (PIT) | at CLB | 7 |
Kyle Palmieri (NJ) | vs. MTL | 7 |
Michael Frolik (CGY) | at ARI | 6 |
Mikkel Boedker (ARI) | vs. CGY | 6 |
Max Domi (ARI) | vs. CGY | 6 |
Jaromir Jagr (FLA) | vs. NYI | 5 |
Patrick Sharp (DAL) | vs. VAN | 5 |
Adam Henrique (NJ) | vs. MTL | 5 |
Devante Smith-Pelly (MTL) | at NJ | 5 |
Kessel gets a solid matchup against the Blue Jackets while Palmieri and Henrique offer solid discounts against the Canadiens without Carey Price. Boedker and Domi could light it up against Calgary's mess in net. Smith-Pelly is an intriguing player because he costs next to nothing and has been promoted to the top line. In his first game there, he fired two goals past Henrik Lundqvist. He isn't a guarantee but he will have opportunities.
Nothing to See Here

---|---|---|
Johnny Gaudreau (CGY) | at ARI | 3 |
Kyle Okposo (NYI) | at FLA | 3 |
Brandon Saad (CLB) | vs. PIT | 3 |
Gaudreau has cooled off to the point where even a game against the Coyotes doesn't bode particularly well. Okposo has been on a nice roll - eight points in six games - but value can be had elsewhere. Saad versus Pittsburgh is not a friendly match, either.
