Here are theScore's running back value rankings for Week 12 (Thursday games excluded):

Value Rankings
QB | RB | WR | TE

Top Options

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Javorius Allen (BAL) at CLE 10
Adrian Peterson (MIN) at ATL 9
Chris Ivory (NYJ) vs. MIA 8
Doug Martin (TB) at IND 8
T.J. Yeldon (JAC) vs. SD 8
Todd Gurley (STL) at CIN 8
Thomas Rawls (SEA) vs. PIT 8

With Justin Forsett (arm) out for the season, Allen becomes the bargain pick of the week; low salary, high volume and a plus matchup with a poor Cleveland run defense make him an absolute must-have. Peterson, Ivory and Martin all have plus matchups and should reach value with ease. Rawls becomes the No. 1 in Seattle and is a great play despite a tough matchup.

Best of the Rest

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Mark Ingram (NO) at HOU 7
Charcandrick West (KC) vs. BUF 6
LeGarrette Blount (NE) at DEN 6
Chris Johnson (ARI) at SF 6
Alfred Blue (HOU) vs. NO 6
Matt Jones (WAS) vs. NYG 5
Devonta Freeman (ATL) vs. MIN 5
Lamar Miller (MIA) at NYJ 5
Latavius Murray (OAK) at TEN 5
Danny Woodhead (SD) at JAC 5

Ingram is heavily involved in a New Orleans offense that should produce against Houston. Johnson has a great matchup against the sad-sack 49ers, while Jones finds himself in what should be a shootout against the Giants. Miller and Murray both have difficult road matchups, and will likely need to be involved in the passing game in order to return value.

Nothing to See Here

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Shane Vereen (NYG) at WAS 4
DeAngelo Williams (PIT) at SEA 4
LeSean McCoy (BUF) at KC 4
Giovani Bernard (CIN) vs. STL 3
Ronnie Hillman (DEN) vs. NE 3
C.J. Anderson (DEN) vs. NE 3
Duke Johnson Jr. (CLE) vs. BAL 3
Frank Gore (IND) vs. TB 3
Jeremy Hill (CIN) vs. STL 2
Shaun Draughn (SF) vs. ARI 2
Antonio Andrews (TEN) vs. OAK 2
Bilal Powell (NYJ) vs. MIA 2
Isaiah Crowell (CLE) vs. BAL 1
C.J. Spiller (NO) at HOU 1
Rashad Jennings (NYG) at WAS 1
Karlos Williams (BUF) at KC 1

The Giants will likely need to use Vereen in the passing game to keep up with Washington. Williams has a brutal matchup against the Seahawks' formidable run defense. Bernard and Hill will struggle to mount much of anything against a St. Louis defensive unit that has limited opposing rushers to fewer than 100 yards in four of the last six games.
