VIDEO: French supporters sing La Marseillaise after Paris attacks
In a show of strength amid the attacks across Paris on Friday night, supporters of the French national team sang the anthem of their country as they exited the Stade de France.
Fans who attended the friendly between France and Germany, which ended in a 2-0 win for the home side, were told to stay put after the final whistle. They were gradually allowed to leave the ground; some of them took to the pitch in a scene of increasing confusion.

But the overwhelming spirit of togetherness prevailed. French journalist Karl Olive posted a video on Facebook showing a line of supporters leading out of the stadium, all singing La Marseillaise.
The in-house announcer directed the remaining group to gates which were deemed safe, according to the Associated Press. About 2,000 had filtered down to field level for further instructions.
Post-match interviews were cancelled, and French Football Federation president Noel Le Graet confirmed that the players only learned about the attacks after the match ended.
