Matt Barnes says Derek Fisher 'wanted to run and tell the cops' about confrontation
Matt Barnes isn't going to let Derek Fisher off the hook just yet.
Barnes broke his silence Monday about the reported October altercation that took place between the Memphis Grizzlies forward and the New York Knicks coach, and he essentially labeled Fisher a rat.

While news of the confrontation was largely laughed off on social media, it was reportedly serious enough for the NBA, at least, to look into the matter.
According to the original reports, Barnes drove 95 miles to confront Fisher, whom Barnes had found out was with his ex-wife, Gloria Govan. Barnes is clearly under the impression that it was Fisher, an ex-teammate from their Los Angeles Lakers days, who alerted the authorities and the Association.
If you're wondering, the first meeting between Barnes' Grizzlies and Fisher's Knicks takes place Jan. 16 in Memphis.
